Lexus CT200h Sport announced, new colours with sporty black trims

Come January 2017, the Lexus CT200h will be six years old. We’re not too far away from the full unveiling of the next-generation Prius-based hybrid hatchback, but that’s not stopping Lexus from introducing an updated variant.

UK customers can purchase the Sport variant from a base price of £23,745 (RM122k), which basically comes with a blacked-out front grille, black mirror housing as well as black 17-inch wheels. Other additions include Lexus Navigation, reverse camera, privacy glass and dual-zone climate control.2017 Lexus CT200h Sport Launch - AutoBuzz.my

Those opting for the Sport Plus package (£2,500 or RM13k) will get parking sensors, keyless entry, heated front seats, powered sunroof and metallic paint. Executive Edition and the F-Sport trim can now be specified with leather seats, sunroof and a more affordable Premium Navigation System.

Three new colours have been added to the mix – New Copper Brown, Sky Blue Metallic and Sonic Titanium. Back home, Lexus Malaysia is selling the CT200h from RM260k. The hybrid luxury hatchback is powered by a 1.8-litre Atkinson-cycle engine paired to a 60 kW electric motor. Together, they produce a combined system output of 134 hp and 148 Nm of torque, which helps it achieve a century sprint time of 10.3 seconds.
