Come January 2017, the Lexus CT200h will be six years old. We’re not too far away from the full unveiling of the next-generation Prius-based hybrid hatchback, but that’s not stopping Lexus from introducing an updated variant.
UK customers can purchase the Sport variant from a base price of £23,745 (RM122k), which basically comes with a blacked-out front grille, black mirror housing as well as black 17-inch wheels. Other additions include Lexus Navigation, reverse camera, privacy glass and dual-zone climate control.
Those opting for the Sport Plus package (£2,500 or RM13k) will get parking sensors, keyless entry, heated front seats, powered sunroof and metallic paint. Executive Edition and the F-Sport trim can now be specified with leather seats, sunroof and a more affordable Premium Navigation System.
Three new colours have been added to the mix – New Copper Brown, Sky Blue Metallic and Sonic Titanium. Back home, Lexus Malaysia is selling the CT200h from RM260k. The hybrid luxury hatchback is powered by a 1.8-litre Atkinson-cycle engine paired to a 60 kW electric motor. Together, they produce a combined system output of 134 hp and 148 Nm of torque, which helps it achieve a century sprint time of 10.3 seconds.
