Honda Malaysia extends airbag replacement service until 31 December 2016



Honda Malaysia has just announced that they are extending operations of their Service Central Hubs till 31 December 2016 to facilitate the replacement of faulty Takata airbag modules. Also, additional Mobile Hubs will be dispatched to selected shopping centres around the Peninsular.

The three Service Central Hubs open everyday (except public holidays), from 8am to 5.50pm on weekdays and 8am to 5pm on weekends. They will be operational from now to 31 December 2016. From 8 to 30 October 2016, Honda Malaysia will be setting up mobile hubs alongside their Honda Family Road Trip at eight different locations during the weekends, also serving the same cause.

2016 Honda Airbag Replacement Hubs

According to Honda Malaysia’s records, about 23 percent of affected Honda vehicles have yet to replace their front airbag inflators while the Northern and Southern regions are estimated to be around 9 and 8 percent respectively. Honda Malaysia urges its customers to identify whether their vehicles are affected here.
