All-new Kia Sportage leaked ahead of Frankfurt debut!

Just moments after Kia Motors released sketches of their fourth-generation Kia Sportage, Facebook page Bobaedream leaked images of the SUV that was supposed to make its grand debut at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

In an era where cameras can easily be fitted into a ballpoint pen, one would think that Kia would go the extra mile by adopting precautionary measures in keeping their concept cars under the radar. However, both leaked photos appear to have originated from a source within the company itself, judging from the sheets of plastic covering the Sportage and other Kia models in sight. 2015-Kia-Sportage-Concept-1

Thanks to these photos, it’s clearer now that the next generation Sportage will bear very little resemblance to the outgoing model, although we don’t necessarily fancy their latest design path. We pray that some parts of the SUV (most notably its front fascia) will see further styling tweaks as the concept progresses, otherwise it may very well lose out to sister company’s new Hyundai Tucson. More on this to come, so be sure to stay tuned to AutoBuzz.my!
