Suzuki Malaysia provides relief for flood victims, gives 50% discount on lubricants

In light of the recent wet spell that has caused severe flooding affecting about nine states on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, Suzuki Malaysia Automobile (SMA), among many other car manufacturers, have decided to lend the flood victims a helping hand by – you guessed it – offering discounts when repairing their cars damaged by the flood.

SMA, through their ‘Lend a Hand’ campaign that runs from 15 January to 28 February, will provide their customers in the affected regions with a dedicated service campaign, such as 50 percent discount on lubricants (engine oil, transmission fluid and coolant), 30 percent less on genuine spare parts and 20 percent off on labour or service charges.

Managing Director of Suzuki Malaysia Automobile, Mr Keiichi Suzuki said, “We urge our customers who have been affected by the flood to get their Suzuki vehicles to the nearest service centre as soon as possible so that we may ensure their quick and safe return to the road.

“We have great compassion for those who are experiencing such distress due to the flooding and hope to provide some relief to our customers in the form of discounted car servicing,” he added.

Those whose Suzuki vehicles have been affected may call Suzuki’s toll free hotline at 1-300-88-6699 to locate your nearest Suzuki dealer. The dealers will then assess and verify the authenticity of the damages before any repairing work is carried out.
