Imagine this: You’re on a holiday and have decided to take your family with you on a three-hour drive to Pulau Redang. You’ve got Ford’s Radio Disney App on your iPhone 6 and the only way to keep your kids entertained is to have them sing along to some of their favourite Disney songs… in your Mustang!
Okay perhaps not the Mustang, then. Ford Motor Company is developing the mentioned Radio Disney App that’s compatible on both iOS and Android platforms. This smartphone app will be available to all existing and future Ford SYNC® AppLink™ users, and allows music streaming all-day long with the touch of a button.
When a smartphone is paired to Ford SYNC via Bluetooth, a static image of the artist’s CD cover will appear on the screen. Radio Disney is a 24-hour radio network for kids, teens and family, with about 21 million listeners tuning in each week. The Radio Disney App will be on display at next week’s Consumer Electric Show (CES 2015) and will be available to customers in early 2015.
