After the recent introduction of the Camry 2.0G X, UMW Toyota Motor launched the improved version of its Toyota Innova. Available in the same three variants as before, prices are from RM97,749.90 to RM110,990.00. The improvements however are mainly made on the hi-spec Innova 2.0G.

The Innova 2.0G gets a new look in front with larger radiator grille and a new front bumper design to complement the new grille. The three horizontal slats on the grille have been enlarged to create a stronger presence while the headlamp design remains as before. The rear of the car now gets a thick chrome accent across the tailgate with integrated reflectors. The 15-inch rims gets a fresh new 10-spoke design. The 2.0E models however do not get these upgrades and maintain the current look.
For better comfort to rear passengers, it now comes with dual air conditioner to ensure all occupants get the cool air. Front and rear passengers can now have a separate controls for better air conditioning throughout the car.
As the image from the Innova brochure below suggests, the car is so spacious, you can even hold a birthday party in it!
To give the Innova a sportier and aggressive look, buyers can opt for the new optional Aerokit Package and includes front bumper spoiler, rear bumper spoiler, roof spoiler and side skirts.
Should better in-car entertainment is required, they can go for the DVD-AVX and AVN packages and rear seat entertainment.
Since only cosmetic changes are applied to the new Innova, powering it is the same 1 TR-FE engine. A 2.0-litre 4-cylinder in-line, 16-Valve DOHC with VVT-i engine, coupled with a 4-speed Automatic with ECT or a 5-Speed Manual gearbox. Producing 134 horsepower and 182 Nm of torque.
